I have always been keen to expand my practical exposure, and am grateful for opportunities to garner on-ground exposure, especially in the fields of finance, business operations, and economics.
In June 2025, I joined as an intern at AIA Engineering under the guidance of Mr. Vivek Rathaur, CFO of the company. During my internship, I was responsible for financial analysis within the Indian business context, for which I examined financial statements and explored the quantitative data that informed decision-making across organizations. My responsibilities also including studying manufacturing cost structures and their implications for business planning, as well as understanding financial modeling techniques.
In the following weeks, I also participated in another internship at Hirise Hospitality, where my goal was to observe the day to day operations of a prestigious five-star hotel. I shadowed senior managers from all the different departments, including Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Finance, Front Office, and IT, and attended all department meetings, gaining an understanding of different interdependencies that function together to provide impeccable service.Â
