Volunteering

I have a firm belief in the power of community service, and that has led me to regularly seek volunteer work to use my skills and passion to impact a larger community. I had a fulfilling experience while assisting in logistics for the Sahayta Square Walkathon, a fundraising event that was supported by Bimavale and focused on raising funds for meal donations. 

I also regularly volunteer at the NGO Karma Foundation, teaching guitar fundamentals to 30+ children and adolescents. Building upon the tutoring efforts, I participated in a CAS project at Karma – we raised more than INR 21,000, which then funded more than 150 meals for people from underserved communities.

My time at Karma Foundation deeply influenced me in another way: through conversations with the students, I realized that while they were eager to build secure futures, they lacked access to basic financial knowledge and investment opportunities. This inspired me to launch Dividendi, a financial literacy initiative based in Ahmedabad that democratizes access to investment knowledge for socio-economically disadvantaged communities. Through workshops, educational resources, and a seed-funded investment program, the project has empowered participants with the tools to make informed financial decisions and has now expanded to partner with 9 NGOs across Gujarat.
