I have a firm belief in the power of community service, and that has led me to regularly seek volunteer work to use my skills and passion to impact a larger community. I had a fulfilling experience while assisting in logistics for the Sahayta Square Walkathon, a fundraising event that was supported by Bimavale and focused on raising funds for meal donations.
I also regularly volunteer at the NGO Karma Foundation, teaching guitar fundamentals to 30+ children and adolescents. Building upon the tutoring efforts, I participated in a CAS project at Karma with my band Meraki – we raised more than INR 21,000, which then funded more than 150 meals for people from underserved communities.
